Fashionistas – Head to The Apex for Fashion Fusion
On Friday 4th May, The Apex in Bury St Edmunds will host Fashion Fusion in aid of St Nicholas Hospice Care.

Independent and high street stores will come together to showcase spring collections on the catwalk. Javelin, Hobbs, Dapper Fox, House of Snow, Trotter & Deane and Cabana are just some of the retailers involved this year.

Guests will have a welcome drink on arrival, before being able to shops at the fashion and beauty stalls in The Apex Lounge. The catwalk show itself will be hosted by Pam Davis, owner of Fashion Candy Style. I’m really looking forward to the event, see you fashionistas there!

Vintage lovers – Go shopping at Old Jet Market
The Old Jet Market at Bentwaters Parks will take place on Saturday 5th May. There will be stalls from local makers and craftspeople selling homewares, vinyl, paintings, jewellery and more.

For Family Fun – Go back in time at Kentwell Hall
During the bank holiday weekend Kentwell Hall in Long Melford will go back in time to the Tudor period. May Day was the most popular holiday in Tudor Times with processions, pageantry and music celebrating the event. Kentwell Hall is continuing the traditions with 100 Tudors around the manor offering guests an interactive experience.

Furry Friends – Visit The Natural Dog Show
Man’s best friend will love The Natural Dog Show at Stonham Barns on Sunday 6th and Monday 7th May. The event aims to promote natural dog care and will include demonstrations, exhibitors and stalls.Top holistic veterinarians in the field of natural health, nutrition and training will be there and you can take part in seminars and workshops on topics such as obedience and vet behaviour.

Gin Lovers – Sip up a storm at The Waveney Gins Gin Festival
There’s nothing like relaxing with a drink with friends and family on a bank holiday. If gin is your tipple of choice then you won’t want to miss The Waveney Gins Gin Festival at Waveney River Centre. The event runs from the Friday to Monday and with a £10 entry you will receive your first drink and a glass to take home.
