Welcome to See Suffolk, a lifestyle blog about the beautiful county of Suffolk!

Hello and welcome! Thanks for stopping by my blog all about the beautiful county of Suffolk. Here you’ll find the best places to eat, shop and visit in our county. Whether you’re a local looking for upcoming events or a visitor wanting to find out more about the county, this blog has something for you!

As a former regional magazine editor, it’s my passion to tell the world about the county of Suffolk. Supporting Suffolk businesses and shopping local is very much at the heart of what I do, and you’ll often find me pottering around indie shops at the weekend.

I originally started the blog when I was at University in Southampton studying journalism. When I met new people and told them where I was from, not many people knew where Suffolk was, or anything about it! During my course we had to create a niche blog for one of our modules and so my idea for See Suffolk was born.

Since then the blog has developed over the years to include posts about what I get up to in Suffolk and the people and businesses I meet. My aim for the blog is to boost the profile of the county, encourage tourism and promote local businesses.

In December 2020 we launched our very first magazine! The Winter 20/21 Magazine is a guide to Suffolk from December to February. The magazine is available in both digital and print format. You can purchase online by clicking here, or visiting one of our stockists:
-Narwhal Interiors, Framlingham
-Thrive, Helmingham Hall
-Hug, Ipswich
-Hart Healing Kitchen, Framlingham
-The Store, Saxmundham
-The Southwold Flower Co
-From Suffolk With Love Digital Detox Box

Let’s work together!
I love to work with local businesses, so if you’d like to find out more about collaborating on a blog post, please do get in touch or download my media kit here.  Any sponsored posts are marked as such – however, I only write about the places and products that I truly love – otherwise, what’s the point!

Every Wednesday I create a ‘weekend round up’ on Instastories to promote local events happening that coming weekend and I also host regular Suffolk blogger meet ups that promote local businesses and smaller Suffolk bloggers. If you have an event you’d like to tell me about, feel free to drop me an email.
