A Suffolk blogger meet up at the Urban Jungle

Last weekend myself and Emily (The Goal Getter) hosted a blogger brunch for Suffolk creatives at the Urban Jungle in Beccles.

We had set up ‘Bloggers that brunch’ last year to meet like-minded local people to chat about the industry, make connections and just eat some brunch together! We started off with just four of us – and this time around we had grown to 20!

I was so overwhelmed by the turn out. Living in Suffolk can make it tricky to meet new people as the towns are quite spread out and although I had made some great blogger connections on Instagram, not many of us had met IRL – until Sunday!

The group were so positive and friendly, we all seem to experience the same ups and downs of blogging – and hopefully we will be able to help each other to grow and support each other along the way, sharing skills, ideas and probably eating a lot of brunch!

The Urban Jungle team were wonderful (thank you for having us Rachel)! The Summer Party took place on Sunday to celebrate its first birthday in Suffolk. There were stalls, a live DJ, a BBQ, cocktails and discounts on plants. We all enjoyed exploring the Jungle, taking lots of photos (of course!), shopping and sipping some cocktails to keep cool in the scorching heat.
