1st December – Woodbridge Fair

The perfect event for the start of the festive season. The Giant Woodbridge Christmas Street Fair will take place between 10am and 4pm. Browse around more than 120 stalls and hopefully find the perfect Christmas gifts for your loved one’s while being accompanied by Christmas music and carol singers.

3rd December – Wreath Making Workshop at High Lodge Leisure near Darsham

Join the Southwold Flower Company for their new wreath making workshop. Upon arrival you will receive a welcome drink and then learn how to create your own beautiful and festive wreath to take home with you. There will be plenty of refreshments available including mince pies, tea, coffee and more. There are limited places available so book as soon as you can!

7th December – Framlingham Festive Shopping Event

Browse through a range of shops and stalls to find the best gifts for your friends and loved ones at the Framlingham Festive Shopping event. Keep warm with the plenty of food and drink available. Take the little ones to visit father Christmas in his grotto. Enjoy the beautiful Castleton Brass music, choirs and a nativity. There is an opportunity to take part in a raffle and have the chance to win £250 (1st prize), a turkey and trimmings from Hall Farm Butchers (2nd Prize) and a Christmas Hamper (3rd Prize).

7th & 8th and 14th & 15th December – Dickensian Christmas at Kentwell Hall

Head to Kentwell Hall for this magical event which will get you and the family all excited for the festivities to come. Visit the Victorian household, with the Victorian staff and Victorian Villagers. The kids can go and meet Father Christmas and then Mr Dickens will be reading an abridged version of his book ‘A Christmas Carol’. The tearoom will be open all day to keep you refreshed and even make some Christmas decorations to take home with you to remember your visit! There’s so much on offer, you won’t know what to do first!

14th December – Suffolk Farmers Market at Trinity Park

Stock up your pantries ready for Christmas with the Suffolk Farmers Market. There is so much on offer at this event which only happens twice a year. Choose from a range of different stalls from different meats to artisan bakery goods, from soy candles to antique jewellery. This is a great place to go to find some yummy treats for Christmas.

7th, 13th & 21st December – Suffolk Food Hall Christmas Party

Suffolk Food Hall is hosting 6 special party nights (2 of them have already sold out). Join in on a night of fun including an arrival drink and a 3-course meal in their stunning restaurant and then dance the night away with a disco. Tickets are still available on their website so book fast before they sell out.

14th December – Urban Jungle Luxury Wreath Making Workshop, Beccles

Join Kim from Romeo and Succulent in this amazing luxury wreath making workshop. Get all the professional advice to create a stunning wreath to take home with you and display proudly on your door. Create a Christmas wreath with a wide selection of traditional foliage, decorative items such as berries, pinecones and ribbons. There will be some refreshments available to keep you warm and feeling festive.

- One Day AyurVeda Cookery Course

14th December – One-day Ayurveda Cookery Course, Maharishi Peace Palace, Rendlesham

Enjoy a healthy winter season! Come to a lovely educational event organised by Maharishi AyurVeda Health Centre Rendlesham which will be hosted next door at the beautiful Peace Palace.

“Let Food Be Your Medicine – The Theory and Practice of Ayurvedic Cooking” with Dr Rajvinder Kaur, BAMS.

The course will be from 11am-4pm and covers both theory and demonstration of the preparation of many foods and beverages. Understand your Prakriti (body type) and choose the correct foods for you. Learn how to prepare different kinds of healthy recipes according to Ayurveda and discover Ayurvedic cooking principles.

Some of the food covered in the demonstration will be “Mung Dal” a protein rich dish prepared with a mixture of herbs and spices. Chai Indian tea, Rice Pudding with stewed fruits and golden milk immunity tonic.

23rd December – Christmas Family Morning at Foxburrow Farm

With the children off school for the Christmas holidays and excited about Christmas, this is the perfect event to take your children. There will be an array of festive arts and crafts, natural decorations and trails for the family at the nature reserve. Booking is essential for this event to avoid disappointment.

28th December – Flatford Ramble

Enjoy a post-Christmas walk around the beautiful Dedham Vale. Lead by an experienced guide. You can learn more about the area while walking along paths and peaceful lanes. The walk should be no more than 5 miles. Make sure to book your place online.

31st December – New Year’s Eve at Ufford Park
