Stylish Suffolk: Suffolk Fashion Show 2017

Next week the Suffolk Fashion Show returns for the fifth year in Ipswich. The event is an annual pilgrimage for our county’s fashionable ladies and gentlemen, and offers a night of style and shopping, fashion, food and fun.

This is the fifth year I’ve been involved with the Show and I look forward to it every time. The 2017 event will be held at John Grose Ford Showroom on the outskirts of Ipswich on
October 5.

The catwalk will once again showcase the very latest autumn/winter collections from some of Suffolk’s most stylish independent boutiques and up-and-coming designers. Welcoming back firm favourites to the runway, as well as new boutiques, this year is set to be better than ever. Well known retailers that are set to strut down the stage include  Coes, Cake & Catwalk, Urban Vintage, Estelle Ruth and Fanny & Frank.  Twist ‘N’ Shout will be dressing the male models and there will be plus size fashion from Colchester based retailer Apples & Pears. Graduate knitwear designer (and friend of the show) Francesca Palumbo from Ipswich will also be unveiling her stunning final degree show designs that will leave a jaw-dropping impression.

Fashion show guests will have the unique opportunity to shop the collections straight off the runway in the Fifth Avenue ‘Shopping Hall.’ Guests can browse before and after the show to make sure they have their fashion fix and pick up their favourite looks before they sell out.

Tickets cost £25 per person and will include a welcome drink on arrival as you peruse the pop up shops, as well as canapé style food to enjoy as you relax and watch the show.

In 2016 the show sold out in record time with over 200 fashionistas delighting in a night of shopping, food and fun; so make sure you book your tickets now to make sure you have a seat for Suffolk’s top fashion event of the season.
