Named Skol from the Viking word for ‘cheers’, this Suffolk based handmade fudge business is definitely worth celebrating over.

Creator Tom uses his traditional fudge recipe as a base for his fudge slabs, and then lets you choose your toppings from various confectionary products such as Maltesers, Smarties and Reese’s Cups. If you’re feeling festive, Skol even offers a Christmas menu including tempting treats like their After Eights, Celebrations and Gingerbread fudges.

Skol also have a dedicated menu of vegan fudge, with the option to choose from either traditional, chocolate, and peanut butter and jam bases. Toppings on offer for those choosing a dairy-free diet include Oreos and Biscoff. Additionally, Skol also creates gluten-free fudge – just check the allergen labelling on the menu!

Pump Street Chocolate – Orford

If you haven’t heard of Pump Street Bakery, I don’t think you’re really from Suffolk! What you might not know however, is that the famous bakery also creates bread flavoured bars of chocolate. On the menu you can find Sourdough and Sea Salt, Rye Crumb, Hot Cross Bun and Brown Bread flavours, created in their new Rendlesham factory.

Pump Street use top quality cocoa beans from small farms and cooperatives where the beans are grown in the natural way. On one of the Pump Street factory tours, you can witness the loving procedure in which the beans are turned into luscious flavoured chocolate.

The now chocolatiers even have a few festive offerings including a Father Christmas Figure, Gingerbread chocolate, and perhaps most exciting, a Panettone flavoured bar.
