6th April – 22nd April – Easter Egg Hunt & New-born Lambs at Museum of East Anglian Life

There will be activities running throughout the Easter Holidays at the Museum of East Anglian Life in Stowmarket. Feed the new-born lambs or hunt for Easter eggs around the museum. There will also be a special performance of the Velveteen Rabbit on 9th April. The museum has 17 historical buildings to explore where you can learn about East Anglian life through the ages.

6th -7th April – Jimmy’s Spring Fayre

Say hello to all the animals at Jimmy’s Farm, take part in the Easter Egg hunt, visit Mr Bunny’s Easter Grotto and go on the carousel rides. There will be live lambing, chick holding, may pole dancing, and over 100 stalls to browse.

6th – 22nd April – Spring Trail & Springo Bingo at Nowton Park

Breathe in that fresh air during the Spring Trail at Nowton Park. Collect your quiz sheet from the Grounds Café and head off around the Park (trail costs £1 per quiz sheet). You can also take part in Springo Bingo and search for all the natural objects around Nowton Park (bingo costs £1 per quiz sheet).

6th – 22nd April  – Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt at Ickworth House, Park and Garden

Follow the paw prints around the Park to find all of nature’s building materials – add them to the bunny’s den and win a chocolate prize! Egg hunt costs £2.50, entry to both the egg hunt and crafts costs £4.

11th April – Mini Terrarium Workshop – for Kids!

The Urban Jungle will be hosting a special workshop for kids during the Easter holidays.
Romeo and Succulent will teach the children all about the science behind the mini-gardens before they get to have a go at making one themselves. Personalise the jar, fill with colourful sand, little plants, moss and a Jungle critter!
The one hour workshops will run from 10:30am to midday, so get in touch with the Jungle to book your slot.

19th – 22nd April – Easter Speggtacular at Baylham House Rare Breeds Farm

Meet the new arrivals at the farm, cuddle one of the new-born lambs and feed the animals. There are plenty of activities to enjoy – groom a pig and a goat, cuddle the Easter bunny, build a den, complete the Easter Treasure Hunt and tuck into a BBQ.
Any child wearing an Easter costume on Easter Sunday will get free entry!

19th – 22nd April – Tudor Easter Recreation & Egg Hunt at Kentwell Hall

Celebrate Easter with the Tudors at Kentwell Hall. Head off on the egg trails, try the Impossible Quiz, take part in crafts and try the Story Book Adventure Trail. Over 100 Tudors will be around the Hall taking part in Easter festivities dating from 1539.

20th April – East Town Park Easter Egg Hunt

East Town Park in Haverhill will be hosting an egg hunt on Easter Saturday. Find all the hidden tokens in the park, with a chocolate egg for each child and special prizes!
