Top autumn trends from the Suffolk Fashion Show 2018

Last week it was the Suffolk Fashion Show 2018 at Trinity Park in Ipswich. After months of planning and rehearsals, it was time for our models to hit the runway.
As usual I was backstage queuing the models up ready for the catwalk – it’s a hectic few hours, but I love the adrenaline rush! When you see the models strutting out there looking fabulous and nailing their routines, it’s such a fantastic feeling!
The clothes were gorgeous this year – such a diverse range of casual outfits, occasion dresses, plus-size and menswear. I’ve picked my favourite trends from the Suffolk Fashion Show 2018 to inspire you this autumn.
Sequins
Quiz, Blue Poppy Boutique and Simply Splendid all showcased stunning sequin numbers ready for the party season.

Leopard print
We all know leopard print is massive for autumn – whether you choose a sleek dress, like this one from Quiz, or a fabulous faux-fur coat from Zest you’re on to a winner!

Layering
Layer up this autumn with knitwear, waistcoats, scarves, jumpers and coats. Both Absolutely Natural Clothing and Zest layered up the looks on the catwalk.
Autumnal tones
Orange and brown shades are hugely popular for autumn. These warming hues will look lovely through till spring. This jumpsuit from Quiz offers fab 70’s vibes.

Checks
Another top trend for this season! Check skirts, blazers and jumpsuits were all seen on the runway in 2018. We love the jumpsuit from Charlie’s Pop Up Boutique!
