Homemade Suffolk brownies delivered to your door? Yes please!

What could be better after a long day at work than coming home to brownies through your letterbox?

Brownies have to be my favourite dessert, so when Rosie from local brownie company Cocoa May got in touch to tell me about her delivery service my mouth was watering!

Rosie trained at Orchards Cookery School and Ballymaloe in Ireland, and worked as a chef in London before returning to Suffolk to set up Cocoa May.

Cocoa May creates a number of brownie flavours including salted caramel, raspberry & white chocolate, pistachio & sea salt, hazelnut, Smarties, chocolate orange, coconut and original. Rosie’s original brownies are gluten free, and she also produces vegan sticky date bars to cater for all requirements.

I was lucky enough to try the salted caramel flavour brownies (thank you Rosie!). They arrived in a lovely branded box, beautifully wrapped and ready to be eaten. We warmed ours up for a delicious after dinner treat – the brownies were rich with chocolate, the salted caramel adding a satisfying saltiness and gooey texture.

These boxes of brownies would be perfect to send as a birthday gift to a loved one, or to cheer them up if they are having a hard time. And you could just treat yourself at the same time– why not!
