Festival Fashion at ARCHIVE Vintage

Inspired by all the dreamy photos of Coachella recently, I couldn’t help but style this gorgeous denim dress from ARCHIVE Vintage in Woodbridge with a floral headband, flatforms and a pair of sunnies.

I first heard about ARCHIVE on Instagram before it opened and couldn’t wait for a new vintage store to open in Suffolk.

Before I went to university I used to work in a vintage shop and I love all things retro. My favourite items are from the 50’s and 60’s but they are difficult to come by in good condition, but I also love some 70’s glam rock pieces and classics like fur coats and military jackets.

ARCHIVE can be found on the thoroughfare in Woodbridge and I can highly recommend a visit. Whether you’re a vintage lover or not, the owner, Paul, handpicks the very best stock so everything looks as good as brand new.

Having sold vintage clothing at numerous markets across London for 15 years, Paul recently relocated to Woodbridge and opened ARCHIVE. He continues to spend one day a week buying and two days grading, laundering and repairing the garments.

Stocking British, American and European vintage, Paul also has a few reproduction pieces, such as Harrington jackets, with the plan to introduce local designers in the future.

So what do you think to this gorgeous denim find? The soft, pale blue long-length dress has a hippy vibe that is perfect for summer festivals in Britain. The buttons are delicate and add a pretty boho vibe to with the embroidered bodice and I really like that there is a denim tie around the waist to create some shape, but you could wear it loose on a warm day.

What’s your favourite vintage find?
